WELCOME

Back in 1953 I came into possession of a canoe mold when my dad bought a canoe made using this mold in Shawinigan Falls, Quebec. The Metis guide decided at 80 years to retire and sold the mold to my Dad.

Since then I packed it across Canada and built a canoe using the mold in 2008 in my shop west of Nanton, Alberta. The rest is history and I now restore and build canoes.

My passion for wood projects is almost as old as the canoe mold. See our portfolio to view recent projects.

I am accepting commissions for special wood projects. Contact me to find out how I can help you enjoy our wonderful Alberta and BC waters!
